The actual questions on the Midterms and Final Exam may be different. There may be a few new questions on the tests and exams that don’t appear here. You can also see previous midterm tests in the notes area of previous terms that I have taught this course. See my [Teaching Home Page]. - - all practice questions for Midterm #1 - [Answer File #1] - - mostly *new* practice questions for Midterm #2 - tries not to include many questions from any previous tests - [Answer File #2] - - more *new* practice questions for Midterm #2 - tries not to include many questions from any previous tests - [Answer File #2b] - - mostly *new* practice questions for the Final Exam - tries not to include many questions from any previous tests - [Answer File #3] Blackboard has some Quizzes containing samples from the above question pools, but the quizzes will often repeat questions. If you only want to see each question *once*, use these PDF files, not the online Quizzes. Slight variations in wording or formatting may mean that a question is shown as “new” even though a question similar to it appeared in a previous practice question set. Small changes generate “new” questions. Real Tests and Exams ==================== Each real test is cumulative and includes questions from **all** previous practice tests. Midterm #2 ----------- Midterm #2 emphasizes material covered since Midterm #1, but it includes many questions from material covered in Midterm #1 (especially the questions from Midterm #1 that were not answered correctly). Midterm #2 includes questions on the entire course up to the week before the test, and that means it contains questions from *all* previous practice sets. The Final Exam -------------- The Final Exam is a comprehensive exam of **all** course material. The Final Exam emphasizes slightly material covered since Midterm #2, but it includes many questions from material covered in Midterm #1 and #2 (especially the questions from those tests that were not answered correctly).
