-------------------------------------------- Self-mark of Assignment NN (participation mark) -------------------------------------------- -Ian! D. Allen - idallen@idallen.ca - www.idallen.com Due date for credit: 11:59PM Thursday April 22. Submitting this exercise contributes toward your 10% class participation mark. Self-mark your assignment using the posted answers. You can self-mark an assignment even if you didn't submit it on time, but you cannot self-mark an assignment that you have not submitted at all. (You can submit an assignment late, for self-marks, before April 23.) Submit the marks for each question in the Assignment using a scale of: 0 marks - no answer 1 mark - answer is mostly wrong 2 marks - answer is mostly right 3 marks - answer is excellent Minor errors in arithmetic or spelling may still be worth 3 marks if you understand what you are doing and the errors are minor. Submit the text file via the appropriately-named Blackboard Assignment "CST8281_self_marks_NN" Assignment upload, where "NN" is the assignment number. Submit a plain text file (no spreadsheets or word processor documents), any name, in this format: -------------------------------------------------------------- Assignment NN Q1 _ Q2 _ Q3 _ ... more self-marks go here ... Q39 _ Q40 _ -------------------------------------------------------------- Replace "NN" with the actual assignment number. Only one assignment per file. The file will contain one line for every question. Replace each of the underscores (above) with a single digit between 0 and 3 that is the mark for that question. I will be scanning this file with a script to see how you are all doing with each topic, so please put only 0, 1, 2, or 3 on each line beside the question number. The file will look something like this before you submit it (this is an example for an assignment numbered Assignment 99; don't copy it): -------------------------------------------------------------- Assignment 99 Q1 3 Q2 3 Q3 2 ... more self-marks go here ... Q39 3 Q40 2 -------------------------------------------------------------- You get full participation marks just for submitting this exercise. The actual marks you submit will *not* be used in your grading. I will examine the submitted files to see which topics need review for tests and exams. (If you all award yourself full marks for a question, I will not propose to review that topic for tests or exams.) -- | Ian! D.
