This course is designed to familiarize users with the features and capabilities of the
Unix operating system, both as a Unix user and a Unix system administrator.
Operating System Scripts and Tools
Building on your Unix knowledge, this course is about getting the information you need:
Scripting, searching, and data manipulation using Perl and other tools.
Web Tools: CGI, HTML, and Perl
Applying your knowledge of Operating System Tools, you learn to create forms and Web
interactive documents through understanding basic HTML and CGI programming.
Network Tools
Using Unix, Windows 95, and Windows NT you learn the basics of configuring a machine to
exist on a network.
