============================================ Special arrangements for Week 12 and Week 15 ============================================ -IAN! idallen@ncf.ca Due to holidays and exams there are no Friday classes in Week 12 and Week 15 this term, which means that section 040 has no classes at all in those weeks. It would not be fair to give the other sections lecture time in those weeks and deny the lectures to the 040 students. To preserve fairness between sections, I am moving the lecture portion of Weeks 12 and 15 online for all my sections. I will not give any formal lectures. All Week 12 and 15 classes for all sections are cancelled and replaced with online Web material and extra office hours, as follows: For Weeks 12 and 15, I will put extra material up on the Web, cancel all classes, and make available 8 hours of in-office consulting time each week, in additon to the onine consulting available through the course discussion news group. During Week 12, the office consulting time will be 9am to 5pm Thursday March 28. During Week 15, the office consulting times will be: 1) Tuesday, April 16: noon to 5pm (or later, by email request) 2) Thursday, April 18: 9am to 2pm (or later, by email request) The final exam is 2pm to 4pm on Friday, April 19 in WC335 and WC336. Read the file test6-mvs.txt under the JCL Notes button for details. Anyone from any section (especially 040) is welcome to bring questions to any of these two consulting days. I will not give lectures; but, I will explain the Week 12 and Week 15 online course notes to anyone who asks questions, from any section. You can find me in my office WB371 (or a nearby classroom if we don't all fit in the office). Please follow the online Web material and bring your questions to me during the consulting hours in Weeks 12 and 15. If you can't schedule time in the consulting hours on one of those days, send me an email and maybe we can meet at another time. The course discussion news groups are also available. Stay tuned to the course announcements news group for updates to the existing Web material to assist you in studying Week 12 and Week 15.
